Karachi: The Netherlands women cricketers restored some pride on Monday by winning the fifth One-dayer against Pakistan by 57 runs at the National Stadium, after having lost the first four in a series of seven.Having put into bat Netherlands piled up an impressive 205 for three. Captain P te Beest came up with a brilliant 80, while C Salomons ably supported her with a well made 55 not out, both of who were involved in a 108-run partnership for the third wicket.In reply, Pakistan was bowled out for 148 with none of the players able to make any major contribution. Zehmurad Afzal top scoring 27 followed by 26 by Rabia Khan. For Netherlands Van de Kieft, Salomons and Van Leeuwen scalped two wickets apiece.
