Karachi: Fitness tests on key players have delayed the announcement of Pakistan's squad for the tour of England next month, an official said on Monday. "There are a number of players who have to appear before the medical panel for fitness tests and this may delay the announcement for a day or two," Pakistan Cricket Board director of operations Brigadier Munawwar Rana said. "Players who were left out from the Sharjah series on fitness grounds will have to pass fitness tests and that includes Wasim Akram, Moin Khan, Yousuf Youhanna and Azhar Mahmood." Pakistan was scheduled to announce the squad on Monday. Pakistan will play two Tests against England and also feature in a limited overs tri-series also involving world champions Australia.
