Sachin, Anjali mark b~~day on quiet note

Jaipur: Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali quietly celebrated the 28th birthday of the ace cricketer at a leading hotel here, staying in the same suite that was occupied by former US President Bill Clinton. The couple slipped into Jaipur on Monday and remained undetected by the public until a fan spotted Sachin praying at a Shiva temple just outside hotel Rajvilas Jaipur on his birthday on Wednesday. "It was an extremely quiet and private affair," a hotel employee told IANS. Their daughter Sarah remained with their family in Mumbai, to which they returned on Wednesday. Anjali reportedly told the hotel staff, "We chose Jaipur because we had heard of the hotel and wanted to see it for ourselves."
