Cuttack: Barabati Cricket Stadium will have flood light arrangements soon. Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Asirbad Behera said on Sunday that the Board of Cricket Control in India would finance the project. The stadium would be the second in Eastern Zone after Kolkata to have such a facility. The Board had agreed to release Rs 2 crore as grant and Rs one crore as loan for the project which is estimated to cost Rs four crore. The loan would be repaid in mutually-agreed installments, he said. Behera said the Board had agreed to release Rs 1.76 crore to the OCA towards television rights. As per the agreement the Board would get 50 per cent of the TV rights. The OCA council, which met here on Sunday, unanimously authorised the association president and the secretary to constitute various sub committees and finalise the tender.
