Kolkata: ''As a child I would have liked to keep an autograph of Pele for myself,'' Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly has said. Saurav, while blazing the city on Monday as part of a soft drink company's promo, said football was his first love and he idolised the King of Football Pele as a child. The stylish left-hander regretted not having got a chance to meet the Brazilian wizard and made it evident that his love for the other ball game was not lost even as the captain of Indian cricket team. When asked about the BCCI's decision of making graded payments to the players, he only said recently Sachin, himself along with three other senior cricketers, had met the Board members to discuss the matter. The results would follow in due course, Saurav added with a smile. He, however, refused to comment on the forthcoming series against Zimbabwe and then in South Africa, stating that for the present he was not thinking about cricket, but added he was happy with the team selection.
