Ahemdabad: England was 356 for seven at lunch on the second day of the second cricket Test against India on Wednesday.Craig White was batting on 88 and Ashley Giles on six. Anil Kumble took the only wicket to fall this morning to take his tally to six wickets.White was lucky to survive two chances off the same over from Javagal Srinath with the second new ball. Wicket-keeper Deep Dasgupta put down a straight forward chance.Anil Kumble at deep backward square leg then dropped a difficult chance of an intend pull shot. But for these two aberrations White played with calm and composure as England consolidated its position. The only success for India came when Kumble had James Foster caught by Tendulkar for 40. Foster had added 95 runs for the seventh wicket with White.
