Bangalore: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday extended the contract of national team coach John Wright and physio Andrew Leipus till the 2003 World Cup in South Africa.Wright and Leipus were appointed in 2000 for a one-year term and their contract expired in September 2001. There had been speculation that both of them would be replaced after the Test series against England which, ended on Sunday.However, BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya announced in Bangalore that Wright and Leipus would be persisted with till the next World Cup.
