London: Mark Ramprakash would hope to have caught the eye of the England selectors when he scored an unbeaten 116 as reigning English county champions Surrey chased Somerset's first innings total at The Oval on Thursday.Surrey ended the day at 322 for three at stumps, with Ramprakash leading the charge, helped by 76 runs from Mark Butcher and 65 from Nadeem Shahid after Somerset had taken its total to 377.Yorkshire is doing its best to prevent Surrey regaining its title. At Headingley, Yorkshire took control of its match against Kent by moving into a 75-run lead with six first innings wickets remaining.Chasing the visitors' 212, Yorkshire resumed on five for none with 90 runs from Matthew Wood, 69 from Scott Richardson and big-hitting Australian Darren Lehmann remained unbeaten on 66.
