Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar bagged the special prize for the fastest century in Ranji Trophy for the season 2000-2001 instituted by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).The various selection committees of the MCA decided on the awards for the Mumbai lads at a meeting held here late Wednesday night.Mumbai captain and Indian stumper Samir Dighe bagged the Justice Tendulkar trophy for the best senior cricketer of the year 2000-01, while Wasim Jaffer bagged the Dattu Phadkar award for the best Mumbai Ranji cricketer of the year.Vinayak Mane, the diminutive opener, bagged three awards - the Late Shri S V Rajdyaksha trophy for scoring the highest number of runs in the Ranji season; Late Shantibai Seth trophy for the best junior cricketer of the season and the Late L P Jai award for the best junior cricketer (u-19).Sairaj Bahutule won the trophy for taking the highest number of wickets in Ranji trophy.UNI
