London: Surrey and Gloucester are set to meet in the Benson and Hedges Cup final at Lord's next month after semi-final wins on Monday. Surrey scored a 174-run victory over Nottinghamshire at the Oval and Gloucestershire beat Yorkshire by 97 runs at Headingley. For Alec Stewart, Ben Hollioake and Alistair Brown, Surrey's big victory must have felt superb.Just four days after being swept aside by Australia in England's NatWest series bid, the Surrey players got back to winning ways after six straight defeats on the international scene.Surrey produced an awesome batting display to reach the final on July 14 - its first since 1997 - and the task of breaking Gloucestershire's monopoly of recent Lord's trophies.Gloucestershire booked its fifth successive Lord's final after Yorkshire crumbled.Yorkshire, replying on a typical Leeds pitch to a hard-working 239 for seven, immediately hit the malfunction key and never threatened to make a game of it.
