London: Australia's Greg Blewett finished the third day of Nottinghamshire's second division county championship match against Worcestershire on a frustrating 99 not out.His teammates will hope he goes to three figures on Monday and, just as importantly, stays at the crease as his team pursues an unlikely victory.Set an imposing 458 to win, Nottinghamshire is currently well placed at 367 for two.Western Australia's Mike Hussey made a championship best of 159 for Northamptonshire but that was not enough to prevent it from following on against Glamorgan. At the close the run-hungry Hussey was 50 not out.In the First Division leaders Yorkshire, once the powerhouse of English cricket but without a championship title since 1968, kept itself on top with a three day innings and 227 runs victory over third-placed Leicestershire. The win was in no small part due to a match return of 12 for 72 from seamer Steve Kirby, only recently awarded a three-year contract after a career as a flooring salesman.Kirby took seven for 50 on his debut and could be forgiven for wishing that the current season does not end. Yorkshire has now won five of its eight matches at the halfway stage of the season. At The Oval champions Surrey built up a lead of 257 against Lancashire thanks to 86 from Mark Butcher and 73 from captain Adam Hollioake.
