London: Former Australian Test star Greg Blewett (134 not out) inspired his English county Nottinghamshire to its first win of the season on Monday as it downed Worcestershire by seven wickets in the Second Division match. The 29-year-old, who was a leading member of the Aussie side that retained the Ashes in England in 1997, played the leading role hitting 19 fours in his 218-ball stay at the crease as Notts chalked up 461 for three its highest fourth innings total in first class cricket.Blewett, scoring his third century of the campaign, carried on from where he left off on Sunday when he finished the day on 99 not out and along with overnight partner Usman Afzaal, who was on 63, smashed 33 off the first five overs.Alamgir Sheriyar got Worcestershire's sole wicket of the day's play when he trapped Afzaal leg before for 88 in a third-wicket stand of 145 from 43 overs but veteran Paul Johnson made sure there was no last minute collapse striking 26 off 28 balls.
