Derby (London): Belinda Clark (69) and Karen Rolton (61) helped Australia score an overwhelming 118-run victory over England in the second One-day International match on Monday. The Southern Stars - as the Australian womens team is known as - thus clinched the three-match series, having won the first tie too pretty comfortably.Australia, taking first strike, rode on the efforts of Clark and Rolton to muster 227 for nine. England, in reply, was bundled out for 109 runs. Clark and Lisa Keightley (34) set the tone for the Australians with a fine opening partnership of 101 runs.Keightley and Rolton then added 43 runs for the second wicket. Though the visiting side lost wickets at regular intervals, it was able to put up a challenging total. The English innings, after the loss of the first wicket with no score on the board, never gained momentum. Rolton also bowled splendidly to claim three wickets conceding just 14 runs.
