Mumbai: Justice D K Deshmukh of Mumbai High Court on Thursday dismissed a petition filed by a local garment company challenging the Board of control for cricket in India's (BCCI) decision to ignore its claim for the cricket team's clothing sponsorship contract.Petitioner Gayatri Arts had claimed that BCCI had given its consent in principle but later had withdrawn the deal.BCCI had filed an affidavit against it stating that the garment company had not replied to its certain queries and the deal was only at the discussion level. While dismissing the plea, Justice Deshmukh in his order observed that there was no concluding contract signed between BCCI and the company. The contract was finally given to Sahara Company at a reported amount of over 12 million Pounds. UNI
