Sydney: India has pulled out of a One-day series in Australia in September that would have included two indoor matches. Australian Cricket Board (ACB) chief executive James Sutherland said on Thursday the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had decided against the series after talking to their leading players about their heavy workload over the next few months. The two sides were due to meet under a closed roof at Melbourne's Colonial Stadium on September 21 and 23, with a third game in Brisbane three days later. India is currently on tour in Sri Lanka and has a trip to South Africa scheduled for October and November. It then returns home for series against England and Zimbabwe. India also figures in the four-nation Asian Test Championship involving the sub-continental teams.Australia played three indoor games against South Africa last year.
