BCCI honorary secretary J Y Lele would seek the Union Sports Ministry's permission for sending Indian team to Pakistan on his return from the US tour, Board treasurer Kishore Rungta told reporters on Wednesday.Mr Rungta expressed the hope that the Board would get the nod from the Sports Ministry in this regard. The BCCI treasurer argued that there was no reason for the Sports Ministry to restrain the national squad from participating in the Asian Test Championship slated to be held in Pakistan in September.India is scheduled to play the opening match against the host side at Lahore. However, an official of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) on the condition of anonymity said that attitude of officials of both the countries were ''indifferent'' in resuming cricketing ties between the two nations. He argued that if the Pakistan polo team could participate in the Polo World Cup in Jaipur soon after the Kargil intrusion, then cricket ties could also be definitely resumed. UNI
