Bangalore: India seems to be finding a man for the occasion. First it was Laxman, second it was Yuvraj and now Sehwag (100 of 70 balls) and whats so pleasing about this is that it means it no longer is a one-man army. Sehwag played an innings reminiscent of the little master himself. He hit top gear from the word go and he refused to let up. In a matter of 10 overs he had taken the game away from the New Zealanders. Chasing 265, not many people thought India could do it, especially given its recent batting record. However, the Indians played like how they are supposed to be playing and made sure their talent deserved what it got a place in the final.Ganguly and Dravid played a good support role, which eventually got India home. For New Zealands part, it bowled poorly in the first 15 overs bowling on both sides of the wicket and thereby making things much easier for the Indians. It, however, did well to post 264 in the morning - Astle being the corner stone of that effort. He was well supported by Fleming and Vincent. With this kind of a performance, India definitely is looking favourite given that it has beaten Sri Lanka twice in its last two encounters. Although, Sri Lankans are considered favourites, they better beware. Unless and until India plays badly which it often is guilty of doing Sri Lanka is in for a tough time.
