Karachi: Test newcomers Bangladesh collapsed to 161 all out against a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) XI on the first day of their three-day Asian Test Championship warm-up game on Friday. The PCB XI, made up of Pakistan Test hopefuls, was 89 for one at close.Bangladesh and Pakistan are scheduled to play their first ever Test in Multan from August 29 at the start of the Asian Test Championship, which has been marred by India's decision to pull out.Former captain Aminul Islam top scored with 36, while Akram Khan made 29 and opener Javed Omer hit 27."It's disappointing because it's our tune up game before the Test match and none of the batsmen could stay in the middle for long," Bangladesh captain Naimur Rehman said."The pitch has low bounce but it's not that difficult to bat on as we made it look." Pacemen Shabbir Ahmed (three for 30) and Yasir Arafat (three for 17) shared the bowling spoils.PCB XI lost Test opener Imran Nazir for 29. Left-handed opener Taufiq Umer, fighting for a place in the Pakistan side, remained unbeaten on 45, partnered by Naveed Latif on nine.
