New Delhi: The Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has sought legal opinion on former Bihar Chief Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav's participation in BCCI'S annual general meeting (AGM) following a dispute in the state unit.[an error occurred while processing this directive]The Board's decision follows a letter from Sanjay Singh claiming he was the genuine representative of the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) and not the unit headed by Yadav, according to BCCI sources. The working committee of BCCI, which met in Mumbai on Saturday, dealt with problems in two other state associations Goa and Jammu and Kashmir. It directed its executive secretary Sharad Diwadkar to proceed to Goa and make an on-the-spot study whether a unit still exists in view of the arrest and court cases against the office-bearers following the fiasco of sale of bogus tickets during the India-Australia match. There are three different persons staking claim to being the secretary of the GoaCricket Association (GCA), the sources said. The Board is also trying to tackle the problem of two groups in Jammu and Kashmir where one group has obtained a stay from a court in Jammu against the other. The Board's AGM is scheduled to take place on September 30 either in New Delhi or in Chennai.PTI
