Mumbai: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar on Friday said he was feeling better after successfully undergoing treatment for his injured right toe in South Africa, but did not fix a time frame for his return to international cricket.[an error occurred while processing this directive]Tendulkar, who returned here in the morning after consulting South African arthroscopic surgeon Dr Mark Fergusson told reporters that he has to try out some inner soles (in the shoes) which have been prescribed by Fergusson."My injury does not need treatment as such. But that part (right toe) has to be rested for some more time. I don't want to predict the amount of time it will take (to return to active cricket)," Tendulkar said."The pain has reduced but I will have to continue wearing the newly-prescribed shoes, which cushions the injured part," the maestro added.Fergusson had on Thursday said in Johannesburg that Tendulkar would be fit to play in an exhibition match scheduled in London on September 18 and "by the time the tour to South Africa starts (in October), he should be ready to play in Test matches".PTI
