Karachi: Pakistan's big and burly Inzamam-ul-Haq will not figure in the two One-day International matches against the visiting New Zealand side, according to Pakistan Cricket Board sources.
"Inzamam will not be considered for the matches against Karachi and Lahore as he has to two serve a two-match suspension imposed by match referee Brian Hastings at Lord's. Inzy had shown dissent in the NatWest series final against Australia after he was given out lbw by umpire Peter Willey," the sources said. New Zealand is due to arrive in Pakistan on September 12 to play three Tests and three One-day Internationals. Inzamam with 8,028 runs from 248 matches is Pakistan's second-highest run-getter after Saeed Anwar in One-day Internationals.
