London: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has changed the venue of its October executive board meeting from Pakistan to Malaysia, in recognition of recent world events and the uncertainty over the security aspects of international travel to the region, according to an official press release.[an error occurred while processing this directive]The meeting was due to have taken place in Lahore from October 15 to 19,but will now move to Kuala Lumpur on the same dates."We're disappointed that Pakistan has been ruled out as the venue for thismeeting, but a realistic position had to be taken given the delicacy ofthe security situation and after receiving advice from governments aroundthe cricket world," ICC Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Speed said."Every effort will be made to stage future meetings in Pakistan and I willbe keeping in close contact with the PCB to review the situation," he added.
