Melbourne: Bob Merriman was appointed chairman of the Australian Cricket Board (ACB) on Friday in place of Denis Rogers, who decided not to seek re-election after six years in the job.[an error occurred while processing this directive]The ACB has now changed its top two positions. James Sutherland became the new chief executive in June when Malcolm Speed took over the top job at the International Cricket Council (ICC).The 65-year-old Merriman, an ACB director since 1991, was appointed deputy chairman in May.
