Sydney: New Zealand will receive two extra lead up matches ahead of the first cricket Test against Australia in Brisbane in November, the Australian Cricket Board (ACB) said on Friday.[an error occurred while processing this directive]The ACB agreed to the matches to give the Kiwis more match practice following the cancellation of New Zealand's tour of Pakistan amid safety fears in the wake of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington."We've agreed in principle but we obviously need to work that through logistically," an ACB spokesman said on Friday. The ACB is expected to discuss the matter at a board meeting later on Friday. New Zealand's tour of Australia was originally due to start on November 1 with a match against Queensland but it is now likely to start 10-14 days earlier. The first Test is set to start at the Gabba on November 8.
