He will go under the surgeon's knife on Monday to try to cure the problem and give himself time to recover before England go on its Test tour to India on November 13.Andrew Walpole, England's media relations manager, said on Saturday, "Craig is expected to be fit for India and the operation was scheduled for Monday specifically to give him time to recover."The surgery, which was identical to the operation which England batsman Nick Knight underwent last year, is expected to sideline White for around four to six weeks.
