Kolkata: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya has constituted a special committee under the chairmanship of Board vice-president P K Mishra to oversee the conduct of matches in domestic tournaments in Bihar for the 2001-2002 season.
B N Singh was appointed convenor of the special committee, while the other members were Ramesh Saxena, Alok Raj, Manoj Singh and S R Bose, according to a BCCI release. Dalmiya also set up a selection committee to choose the Bihar teams for both senior and junior tournaments conducted by the Board. National selector Ashok Malhotra was appointed chairman of the five-member committee, which also includes former Indian wicket-keeper Syed Saba Karim, ex-pacer Randhir Singh, Sunil Singh and Ashish Sinha. Dalmiya also informed that he would appoint a BCCI observer to oversee the conduct of matches of domestic tournaments of the Board in Goa shortly.
