Goa institutes judicial probe into ticket fiasco

Panaji: The Goa government on Thursday constituted a Judicial Commission headed by former Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Justice (retd) M L Pendse to look into the allegations of printing, marketing and selling of fake tickets for the India- Australia One-day International (ODI) held here on April 6.
 The government has appointed a commission of enquiry to probe into the allegations and has given it four months time to submit the report, Sports Minister Sanjay Bandekar told reporters. Besides ascertaining whether any of Goa Cricket Association (GCA) office bearers were involved in the printing, marketing and selling of fake tickets, the commission would also enquire into other related matters, the notification added.
