Mumbai: Indian left arm seamers Zaheer khan and Ashish Nehra were looking forward to bowl on the bouncy South African pitches in the forthcoming three-match Test series from November 3.It would be a real challenge to bowl to the mighty South African batsmen on their bouncy wickets, the Baroda seamer Khan told PTI in Mumbai on Thursday on the eve of his departure along with Nehra, Conner Williams and wicket- keeper Sameer Dighe for South Africa to join the Indian Test team. I feel totally fit and I am eagerly looking forward to some tough competition over there," Khan added. The Delhi seamer Nehra said he was completely fit and raring to go. I have heard a lot about the pitches in South Africa and I am really looking forward to extracting some bounce and movement against top class South African batsmen," he added. Opening batsman Conner Williams said he was expecting to be picked in the Test team especially after his responsible 83 in the second innings for Baroda against the Rest of India in the Irani Trophy match at Nagpur recently. "I think that was quite a mature innings I played when the chips were down for Baroda and that innings helped in my inclusion in the Test squad," he added. Dighe said he was expecting the recall into the Test squad though he was surprised a bit as he was not picked in the Rest of India team for the Irani trophy. "However, I am looking forward to this challenge. I hope I can contribute immensely for the success of the Indian team," he added. Extras:
