East London (South Africa): Overnight rain once again played spoilsport as the four- day game between India and South Africa 'A' was delayed on the opening day on Saturday due to wet outfield.

Though there was bright sunshine, intermittent rain last night rendered the ground unfit for play. This is the only practice game for the Indians before two back-to-back Test matches against South Africa. The practice game ahead of the first Test was also washed out due to rain.
