England tour of India - News - Cricket: Martin, Joshi to lead teams against England

Mumbai: Middle order batsman Jacob Martin of Baroda and left-arm spinner Sunil Joshi of Karnataka will lead the Board President's XI and India 'A' teams to play in the two three-day ties against visiting England team atHyderabad (November 22 to 24) and Jaipur (Nov 27 to 29) respectively.Off spinner Sharandeep Singh, who switched over to Delhi from Punjab and Mumbai opener Wasim Jaffer have been named in the Board XI team while opening batsman Gautam Gambhir and Karnataka medium pacer Dodda Ganesh get chances to play for the India 'A' side, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary and convenor of the selection committee, Niranjan Shah.The teams (Board President's XI): Jacob Martin, Irfan Pathan (Jr), Rakesh Patel, Wasim Jaffer, S Sriram, Dinesh Mongia, Pankaj Dharmani, Sanjay Bangar, Murali Kartik, Rohan Gavaskar, T Yohannan, Sharandeep Singh, Surendar Singh, R Druv.
