'The boys will have to get used to the heat'
'Patience key to handling Indian bowlers at home'
Mumbai: England quickies Craig White, James Ormond, Richard Johnson and Matthew Hoggard are confident of troubling the Indian batsmen in the forthcoming three-match Test series between the two countries next month.Craig White said on Friday that he was quite confident about him performing well as the Indian wickets have little bit purchase for the quickies in the first hour on all five days."That is the time to pick a few quick wickets as we will be fresh after a good night's sleep. I do agree the Indians have a formidable batting line-up with Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, V V S Laxman and Saurav Ganguly in the middle order," added the Yorkshire fast bowler who has the reputation of dismissing West Indian Brian Lara off the first ball at the Oval last year.Twentyfour-year-old Leicestershire fast bowler James Ormond said it would be real challenge to bowl to world class batsmen like Tendulkar and Dravid on Indian pitches."I know it will be a back-breaking work but if I bowl a good line and length for a longer period of time the batsmen are bound to get frustrated and try to play shots which can result in their dismissals, Ormond added."There is no doubt that the Indians have a fine batting line-up and we also know how well it flourished against the Australians last year. We just can't take the Indians lightly, said the tall fast bowler. PTI
