Mumbai: Spinners Nilesh Kulkarni, Ramesh Powar and Rajesh Pawar hold the key for Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) President XI's success against the visiting England cricket team's two-day tour opener which begins on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium here.Though it is very tough to imagine a result in a two-day match, the Englishmen are suspect against quality spin bowling, which the hosts have.Being the first match of the tour, the visitors, led by India-born Nasser Hussain, are likely to try out their three medium pacers and two spinners. The choice among the batsmen, apart from Hussain, would be Mark Butcher, Graham Thorpe, Mark Ramprakash, Michael Vaughan and wicket-keeper James Foster.Left-arm spinner Ashley Giles and off spinner Martyn Ball are likely to play while the new ball would be in the hands of Craig White, James Ormond, Matthew Hoggard or Richard Johnson.Hussain told reporters after the nets on Saturday that the boys were looking forward to the match and was confident of his team doing well. Mhambrey too, was confident of his team doing what they did to the Aussies in its tour opener last year, which left, the Australians demoralised and they eventually lost the three match Test series 1-2.Both the skippers said the playing 11 would be announced on Sunday.
