Chennai: A giant television screen-cum-scoreboard installed at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai would be inaugurated on Jan 22, the day of the second One-dayer between India and England being held at Cuttack. [an error occurred while processing this directive]The screen-cum-scoreboard, imported from Australia, would help the spectators at Chepauk Stadium to watch the third game between India and England on January 25, the way sports lovers do in international arenas, Dr A C Muthiah, president, TNCA said in a press release on Saturday.The TNCA also has long term plans to bring live the telecast of other mega events like soccer, tennis and formula 1 racing to instadia audience at Chepauk, according to Ashok Kumbhat, honarary secretary, TNCA.The TNCA also proposed to telecast live the One-dayers at Kanpur and Mumbai on January 28 and February 3 respectively, he said.
