'Replace Denness or hold his ruling'
Tendulkar says he was cleaning the ball
New Delhi: The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) president and Law Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday strongly criticised the ICC decision to penalise batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and four other Indian cricket players saying the decision of the match referee smacked of bias."The visuals of the excessive appealing and the alleged ball tampering do not support the decision of the match referee," Jaitley said. Asked whether the decision of the match referee showed bias towards third-world countries, Jaitley said, "There is a lot that ICC has to explain. Comparative incidents of similar nature conclusively show that there is no uniform yardstick."
