New Delhi: BJP on Wednesday said the harsh punishment to six Indian cricketers by match referee Mike Denness in South Africa smacked of "racial discrimination"."In this case very strong action has been taken against the players without prior warning and therefore it smells of racial discrimination", party spokesman V K Malhotra told reporters here. Expressing shock over the action of the match referee, he said the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as also the government should find out who was responsible for this action and whether it was a case of racial discrimination.
