Manohar, Kishore grind Ktaka with unbeaten tons

Hyderabad: Hosts Hyderabad piled up 275 runs without loosing a wicket at close on the opening day of the four-day South Zone Ranji Trophy Cricket match against Karnataka here on Wednesday.

Electing to bat, Hyderabad openers Daniel Manohar and Nanda Kishore toyed with Karnataka bowling scoring runs on either side of the wicket and putting up 275 for the first wicket.

Daniel Manohar with 100, laced with 11 boundaries off 299 balls and Nanda Kishore on 136, studded with 22 hits to fence, were at the crease when stumps were drawn.Karnataka skipper and Test discard Sunil Joshi was the only bowler who was treated with respect by Hyderabad openers as he gave away 52 runs off 29 overs.
