Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) president Laloo Prasad Yadav on November 23 decried match referee Mike Denness' harsh punishment to Sachin Tendulkar and other cricketers and said that this was done with the motive of lowering the morale of Indian willow-men."I am dead against imposition of penalties on Indian players. I don't endorse such a decision aimed at demoralising cricket stars and the team," Yadav said. Had he been in the position of BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya he would "not have allowed our team to visit a place where players were being misbehaved with and insulted," Laloo said.
