Perth: Former Western Australian all-rounder Ian Brayshaw, one of the few players to have captured all 10 wickets in a first-class innings, will coach Kent County Cricket Club next summer, it was reported on Saturday.[an error occurred while processing this directive]Brayshaw, 59, about to end a long on-camera television career in Perth, will take up his new job early next year, 'The West Australian' reported. He played 101 matches for Western Australia during a 17-year career and was considered unlucky not to have been chosen at Test level.Brayshaw, a swing bowler and hard-hitting batsman, is best remembered for his bowling figures of 10 for 44 against a strong Victorian team in a Sheffield Shield match at the WACA ground in the 1967-68 season. He becomes the third Western Australian in recent times to coach Kent.Daryl Foster held the job for a number of seasons, and John Inverarity - a former Western Australian and South Australian captain who also played Test cricket - coached the county last summer. Two other Western Australians, Wayne Clark (Yorkshire) and Tom Moody (Worcester) have high-profile coaching roles in English county cricket.
