Ahemdabad: Indian coach John Wright on Monday said everyone associated with the team should be held accountable for the performance and he had given his best to the job.Describing his meeting with Board of Control for Cricket in India president Jagmohan Dalmiya in New Delhi on Saturday as "very constructive", Wright called for greater interaction between the team members and officials."I feel everyone should be held accountable for the end result," Wright said after the Indian team's practice at the Sardar Patel Stadium ahead of the second Test against England starting on Tuesday."I agree with Dalmiya as far as the accountability is concerned and meetings between the team members and Board officials will definitely help in the long run," he added. The meeting had fuelled speculations on the continuance of Wright who has already completed his one-year term in office but the former New Zealander did not want to join issue."The game is keenly followed over here and everyone connected with the game will be under pressure. I have done the best I could as the coach and hope the team transforms into success in near future," he said. PTI
