Bangalore: Indian pace spearhead Javagal Srinath, who injured his hand in the third Test against South Africa at Centurion on Monday last, said on Friday he would be fit to be back in action by December 6.Srinath told in Bangalore that he had already submitted the fitness certificate to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).The Indian speedster had suffered injury on the head of his fifth metacarpal (little finger) of his non-bowling hand. But showing a combination of grit and zest, he had bowled a dozen overs with verve and vigour in his first two spells and retired to the dressing room only after taking the wicket of Herschelle Gibbs. He bowled another spell of four overs later. This is the second time that Srinath has been hit on the knuckle of his little finger, adding to his injury woes. PTI
