Mumbai: Middle order batsman Rahul Dravid has pulled out of the five-match One-day series against England from January 22 to February 3 and the Challenger Series from January 10 to January 13 to be held at Bangalore.[an error occurred while processing this directive]The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) executive secretary Sharad Diwadkar told reporters in Mumbai on Thursday that the Karnataka batsman had sought permission to skip the One-day series and the Challenger series to go to South Africa for shoulder treatment and be fully fit before the Zimbabwe tour of India in March 2002.The five matches against England will be played at Kolkata, Chennai, Kanpur, Delhi and Mumbai. While the Challenger Series (day-night) will be played at Bangalore, he said.The Indian team for the five One-dayers would be selected at Bangalore on January 13, he added. PTI
