Bangalore: After skipper Saurav Ganguly, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Monday strongly supported coach John Wright continuing in his job, saying the former New Zealand Captain is trying hard to put India on the success path.Asked specifically if he would recommend continuation of Wright, who has completed his one-year contract, as Coach, Tendulkar replied, "I would say so. He (Wright) has done a good job".Tendulkar's support for Wright comes two days after Ganguly came out in strong defence of the coach in Ahemdabad, saying "there is no question of changing John Wright. He has been a very good coach".Tendulkar said, "He (Wright) is a good coach. He is trying hard on us (the team). I appreciate his efforts. Success does not come overnight. He is trying hard at it."Tendulkar's comments came during a chat with reporters after he along with Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi showcased the official match ball of 2002 FIFA World Cup at the Adidas exclusive store here.To a question on the third and final Test starting here on Wednesday, he said cricket is a tough game and it's hard to predict. "Both sides are good. We will try our best."Tendulkar said he does not follow football "very much", adding, he is a keen follower of tennis and Formula one race. PTI
