Bangalore: India was all out for 238 in its first innings on the rain-truncated fourth day of the third and final cricket Test on Saturday to concede a 98-runlead to England.

Play finally started on the fourth day in the afternoon after overnight rain and a light drizzle in the morning delayed the start of the match.

The game got underway after three inspections by umpires A V Jayaprakash and Asoka De Silva. The match commenced at 2.15 pm local time (8.45 GMT) after rain delayed proceedings.

No play had been possible since tea on the third day.

With 245 minutes of playing time already lost, only 43 out of the possible 105 overs will be bowled, if weather does not intervene once again.
