Mumbai: Parthiv Patel of Gujarat will lead the Indian cricket team for the under-19 World Cup to be held in New Zealand in January.
| The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Niranjan Shah said that the junior selection committee, which met in Bangalore on Monday selected Y Gnaneswara Rao of Andhra Pradesh to be his deputy in the 14-member squad. The team: Parthiv Patel (captain), Siddharth Trivedi, Y Gnaneswara Rao, Manvinder Bisla, Deepak Chowgule, Stuart Binny, Irfan Pathan, Chandrasekhar Atram, Rakesh Mohanty, Abishek Sharma, Khanin Sekia, Chandan Madan, Mohnish Mishra and Paul Valthaty.
