Facing almost certain defeat at one stage, India came back fighting hard and won a thrilling match in its openingencounter of the LG Cup on January 19 at Kolkata. With a lead of 1-0 in the 6 match series ODI series, India plays against England at Cuttack on January 22 where it has a good track record:Cuttack has so far hosted 10 ODIs in all including two matches not involving India (Australia/Zimbabwe match in 1987 World Cup and England/Pakistan match in 1989 Nehru Cup).
