Kanpur: England speedster Andrew Flintoff escaped punishment for hurling verbal abuses at Virender Sehwag during the third One-dayer in Chennai with match-referee Dennis Lindsay finding nothing wrong with it.England coach Duncan Fletcher on Sunday told reporters that Lindsay had spoken to both the sides but decided not to punish anyone. "It shows he is not too serious about the issue," Fletcher said.Flintoff was seen abusing Sehwag after being hit for a few runs in the Chennai match but Fletcher justified the bowler's reaction saying he had not gone overboard. "As long as you make sure you don't cross the line, its within your rights. He was just making a point. He did not go overboard," Fletcher said.Fletcher said that as a fast bowler being aggressive was a part of Flintoff's personality. "There are hardly any successful fast bowlers who are not aggressive," he said. PTI
