New Delhi: Indian team physiotherapist Andrew Leipus on Wednesday denied having called Saurav Ganguly a 'shirker' in matters relating to physical fitness in a report submitted to the BCCI.
"I have not made any remark or judgement on any individual player in the report," Leipus told reporters on phone from Nagpur while admitting that he had submitted a report to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the fitness levels of top Indian cricketers.
Leipus said he had been asked to make an assessment of the players' fitness during the Challenger series in Bangalore in January. "It was a good opportunity to test the fitness of over 30 of India's top cricketers and that is exactly what I have done," Leipus said. "I have not passed any judgement on any individual player."
