New Delhi: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has been rested for the first three of the five-match One-day series against Zimbabwe beginning at Faridabad next Friday.Tendulkar has not been included so that he can recover from a minor knee problem, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Niranjan Shah said after a meeting of the National Selection Committee on Saturday.Javagal Srinath too has not been considered at the fast bowler's request Shah said. The team for the first three ODIs: Saurav Ganguly (captain), Virender Sehwag, V V S Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Sanjay Bangar, Dinesh Mongia, Mohd Kaif, Ajay Ratra (wicket-keeper), Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ajit Agarkar, Tinu Yohannan and Sharandeep Singh.PTI
