Mumbai: Left-handed batsman Saurav Ganguly has been retained captain of Indian cricket team for its 83-day tour of England, starting from June 18.

The Indians will play a triangular series involving England, Sri Lanka and India and four Test matches apart from four side games, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary and convenor of selection committee Niranjan Shah told reporters on Tuesday.

The team for the triangular series would be picked on June 8. The Indian team, which lost the Test series 1-2 and won the One-day series 2-1 against West Indies, is arriving on Wednesday, he added.
