Canterbury (England): West Indies 'A' failed to build on its win over Sussex, losing by six wickets against Kent in the latest One-day match of its England tour on Sunday. [an error occurred while processing this directive]But Daren Ganga's young side made Kent fight hard for its win, the home team only getting home with five balls to spare. For West Indies 'A', Runako Morton's 126 off 133 balls, including four sixes and 11 fours, was the highlight of the day and the cornerstone of its 257 for six. That score looked a long way off when Ganga was run out to the first ball of the day when, going for a second, he failed to beat Ben Trott's throw from square-leg. West Indies' bowlers then had Kent 92 for two before a third wicket stand of 105 between Ed Smith (87) and Matthew Walker (75 not out) took the game away from the tourists. The next match sees West Indies 'A' involved in a four-day encounter with Derbyshire starting on Wednesday.
